Emblaze-VCON and Xenex, a licensed Emblaze-VCON partner and integrator, have created a multimedia videoconferencing product, called the XtoX Winner. Xenex used Emblaze-VCON’s technical components and software developer’s kit to create the XtoX Winner.

The XtoX Winner integrates the standard based group conferencing and the functionality of web conferencing. The product produces high-quality picture and sound, which together enable natural interaction between remote participants. The presence of the distant participant is enhanced through a compact system that can be placed around the conference table or on user’s own desk.

In the past the doctor required two separate systems: a PC for patient data and a videoconferencing system. The XtoX Winner integrates both into a single solution for the physician. Moreover the system has two 17” LCD screens, which allow a doctor to see both a patient’s information on one screen while having a live consultation with the patient on the other screen. Sometimes it is necessary to invite another doctor in for consultation. This can be done easily via Emblaze-VCON’s server-based multipoint bridge (VCB).
